Ignited by the passion of the Holy Spirit, members and newcomers of Bangkok Immanuel Church held the Pentecost event “Hope’s Not Dead” on June 4th. They spread the Good News of hope among their family, friends, and participants. Congregations were lead towards Jesus Christ and active participation of Holy Spirit in their daily lives.
Every church member brought their beloved ones to join the event and united in hearts to celebrate Pentecost event with individual’s talents. They started with a presentation of the reality of hopeless, skit and hopeful worship songs.
The guest speaker, teacher Wongpat Maneenoi from Bangkok Bible Seminary shared, “True hope often happens in the time of nearly hopeless. True hope has to give the power of faith in Jesus. True hope is not dead, only we dare to touch the cloak of Him. True hope has to choose between the thought of man and the promise of God. He challenged them to dare to touch Jesus who gives hope to all.” Everyone received abundant grace.
Additionally, Sister Aew shares her life testimony that moved the heart of the congregation and encouraged them to have hope in Jesus Christ who listens to all prayers. Subsequently, they watched the video clip of Nick Vujicic that inspired their life.
The Holy Spirit moved the heart of ministers to share the Gospel of hope in a small group after the program. Everyone listened with enthusiastic hearts.
Please pray that the seed of the Good News of hope be planted deeply in participants’ heart. It is hopeful that one day the seed will blossom in their hearts.
