Bangkok Immanuel Members Gain Rest, Prompt to Spread Good News


Bangkok Immanuel Church minister delivered the message taken from Matthew 11:28-30, titled “The Rest”

Minister shared “As a man, we have the burdened of sins. Sins like the mountain that push down on us. Through the dead and resurrect of the Lord, we have peace and rest. Learn the heart of Lord to be gentle and humble to serve others, we will find rest for our souls. Do carry the Lord’s yoke, sharing His good News to others with the heart of love.”

One member reflected “It’s a period of time that has not been shared Good news to others. Thank God for reminding me through the word”

Another member shared “I hope to love the Lord and place Him as the first priority in my life. Pray that I repent from loving the world.”

Thank God that the Holy Spirit touches members’ heart to live to glorify Him and gain strength to spread Good News.

Bangkok Immanuel Church Encourages Church Members Growing in Godliness


Bangkok Immanuel Church minister delivered the message taken from 2 Peter 2:1-11, titled “For if you do these things, you will never stumble” encourages church members to grow in godliness and make progress on Christian characters in 7 qualities.

Minister shared “God has given us everything we need for life and godliness and He also has given us very great and precious promises. Therefore make every effort to grow in 7 characters on the foundation of faith in Jesus Christ. Add to your faith moral excellence, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love. Spiritual growth is the process and we should practice these qualities consistency”

May the church members grow in the godliness and have Christlike characters.

Bangkok Immanuel Church Encourages Church Members to give Glory to God


On June 25th, Minister of Bangkok Immanuel Church delivered the message from 1 Corinthians 2:1-10  encourages the congregation to live following His word and glorify Him.

Minister shared “Paul resolved to know nothing except Jesus Christ and his crucified. A man has the three big problems in love, sin, and death. All these problems resolve by Jesus Christ. The cross reveals God’s love. Man in His love can be fulfilled. The cross redeems human’s sins.  We can release from sins.  Jesus resurrected and overcame the death. We believe in Him and will resurrect together with Him.”

He continued “In God’s mystery, He predestines us to glorify.  By believing in Him and following His word we can become perfect and glorify Him and become His real children.”

May the Lord bless the listeners to meditate on the word and live glorify Him.

Bangkok Immanuel Church Starts Project Hope For Kids


As the kids like the small seeds that will grow to be the big trees in the future, church ministers hope “Project hope for kids” will bring hope to kids’ lives.

Bangkok Immanuel Church starts Project Hope for Kids every Saturday at 3 pm.- 4 pm.  The first class start on 24th June, they study about decoupage.  They do the key chain and cup tray together.

The parents respond positively with a smile that helps their kids to have creative thinking, spend time well and grow in a good environment. They will help to promote for more kids to come.

The volunteer teacher said “As in the past I also had this opportunity to study like this.  As I grow up, I have the  good impression of Christian and one day God called me to know Him.”

Bangkok Immanuel Church Studies Wisdom to Fear the Lord Through Genesis


On June 18th, Minister of Bangkok Immanuel Church lead members to study the truth on the basis of the book of Genesis, they learn to fear the Lord and shun evil.

Minister encouraged members not to lean on their own understanding. God is the Creator and we are created by Him. As the heavens are higher than the earth, God is higher than man.  Through Adam and Cain, we can see that God always loves sinners and always seeks for the sinners. He gave them the opportunity to repent from their sins.  From Noah and Lot time, we learn that God came to save the righteous and judge the evil ones.

Minister concluded by Proverbs 28:13-14 “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.”  Let’s us have the wisdom of fear the Lord and look at His steadfast love of God in living the life.

One member reflected “God gives me a chance to repentance. I can really know God with me and is not forsaken sake me.”

After the service, they had the farewell table fellowship for brother Ice to go to study abroad. Everyone had the graceful time together.

Bangkok Immanuel Church Exhorts Church Members to Live with the Holy Spirit, Brings Life

On June 11, Minister of Bangkok Immanuel Church exhorts church member to live in accordance with the Holy Spirit.  The congregation learned to live the life that pleases God.

Church minister delivers the message taken from Romans 8:1-11 titled ” Life that Follows Holy Spirit”. God predestined and called us to live justify and bring glory to Him. Do not live according to the flesh. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.  Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

One member reflected “God exhorts me many times about this, however many times I live following my own flesh. Inside my heart, I would like to live the life following the spirit. Really thank God for the message today to teach me to perseverance and live the life that pleasing God.”

Minister shared ” We are slaves to one we obey, whether slave to sin, slave to impurity which leads to death or slaves to righteousness, leading to holiness.”

It is with great hope as members follow a life with the work of Holy Spirit it will bring a pleasing life to God. May the church members meditate on the message and live it out in their daily lives.

Bangkok Immanuel Church Actively Distributes Gospel Flyers to the Neighborhood

As the semester break for university students approaching, the ministers of Bangkok Immanuel Church plan to distribute Gospel leaflets to the church neighborhood.

Recently the ministers go out actively to distribute the Gospel leaflets to every house nearby the church area.

By giving out the leaflets house to house, the ministers had the opportunity to talk with some of the residents. It was glad that they come to know the church location and some even interested in the outreach programs.

Please pray that the church will become the spiritual home that weary souls may find rest in it.

Bangkok Immanuel Church Spreads Good News of Hope on Pentecost Day





Ignited by the passion of the Holy Spirit, members and newcomers of Bangkok Immanuel Church held the Pentecost event “Hope’s Not Dead” on June 4th. They spread the Good News of hope among their family, friends, and participants. Congregations were lead towards Jesus Christ and active participation of Holy Spirit in their daily lives.

Every church member brought their beloved ones to join the event and united in hearts to celebrate Pentecost event with individual’s talents. They started with a presentation of the reality of hopeless, skit and hopeful worship songs.

The guest speaker, teacher Wongpat Maneenoi from Bangkok Bible Seminary shared, “True hope often happens in the time of nearly hopeless. True hope has to give the power of faith in Jesus. True hope is not dead, only we dare to touch the cloak of Him. True hope has to choose between the thought of man and the promise of God. He challenged them to dare to touch Jesus who gives hope to all.”  Everyone received abundant grace.

Additionally, Sister Aew shares her life testimony that moved the heart of the congregation and encouraged them to have hope in Jesus Christ who listens to all prayers. Subsequently, they watched the video clip of Nick Vujicic that inspired their life.

The Holy Spirit moved the heart of ministers to share the Gospel of hope in a small group after the program.  Everyone listened with enthusiastic hearts.

Please pray that the seed of the Good News of hope be planted deeply in participants’ heart. It is hopeful that one day the seed will blossom in their hearts.

Bangkok Immanuel Church Encourages Members to Be Doers of God’s Word


With Pentecost drawing near, the minister of Bangkok Immanuel Church encouraged the members to be the doers of God’s Word and be closer to God’s Word by meditating on the Word day and night during the recent Sunday Service.

During the service, the minister delivered the message that was taken from James 1:25 and exhorted the congregants to find their answers through the Word which gives freedom and way following God’s will.

Reflecting upon the message, a member shared, “Despite being busy with my studies, I tend to read the Word of God daily. However, these days, I came to see that I neglect my spiritual life and face many difficulties. Thank God for the message that He reminded me once again that I should spend time to read the Word of God and live out daily.”

Another member also shared, “I learned that I should obey the Word, not analyzing it whether it’s reasonable or not. When the Word of God is being proclaimed, I should be humble and obedient to follow it. I hope that my heart is like an innocent child who obeys His will.”

May the Lord bless the members to ponder on His word and become the ones who practice the Word daily to be closer to God.

Bangkok Immanuel Church Gives Thanks for Departing Missionaries, Unites in Love


The members of Bangkok Immanuel Church participated in a graceful service and fellowship during the recent Sunday, giving thanks to God for His work through their ministry in the church for the past six months.

During the service, Pastor Tertius delivered a message that was taken from Matthew 13:44-46. The congregation was encouraged to seek for eternal treasures, “As the world seeks for temporary knowledge, good health and love, but we are blessed with the eternal Word of God, eternal life and eternal love as our treasure and pearl of great value. More than anything else, we need to sell off everything that we have, in order to make these treasures ours.”

Following the service, there was a graceful time of fellowship that included a game with meaningful questions for the members to get to know more about the pastors. Following the game, they was a song of blessings and prayer for the pastors from the members.

The church members expressed gratefulness to God for leading the footsteps of Pastor Tertius and Pastor Rebekah to serve in the church during its challenging times. Through their ministry, the members came to witness how the Holy Spirit ignited the light of love and unity among them.

May the Lord’s blessings continue to be upon Pastor Tertius and Pastor Rebekah as they embark on the next phase of their ministry and serve Him according to His guidance.
